The PEI Curling Association will be holding a Canadian Curling Association Club Coach Youth workshop, for persons who work with junior curlers age 6-14, on Sunday Oct. 30 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Charlottetown Curling Club. This workshop covers modules 1- 8, and includes: Setting the Scene, Ethical Coaching, Practice Planning, Safety, Game Orientation, Teaching the Skills, Program Management and Games, and Drills and Activities. Cost is $75, and registration deadline is Oct. 25.
The PEICA are also conducting a CCA Technical Club Coach workshop (formerly Level I Technical), at the Crapaud Community Curling Club on Dec. 3 from 9 am to 4 pm, and continuing on Dec. 4 from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Cost is $90, and registration deadline is Nov. 25.
