Attention Senior Curlers:
We are in the process of organizing a Senior Curling League at the Silver Fox Curling Club in Summerside for next season.
It will be held on Thursday nights starting approximately November 1, 2012 and wrapping up before the Provincial Senior Playoffs in February 2013.
It is open to both Women’s and Men’s teams (age 50 and over).
We are looking for 12 teams, and with that number will play a round robin plus playoffs. With this format all teams would play 13 games.
Times will rotate on Thursday nights between 6:10 and 8:30.
First 12 teams confirmed.
We plan to make this a cash league with each team throwing
$200-$400 into a pot which is then paid out each night for a win.
Final amount to be decided by the teams themselves.
Teams will also have to purchase a One Night Membership at the Silver Fox.
Both the Provincial Seniors and the Canadian Senior Mens & Womens Curling Championships are being played at the Silver Fox next year, so this is a great opportunity to prepare your team.
