Bluenose CC

The Bluenose Curling Club in New Glasgow NS is this year’s host of the Atlantic Under 18 Curling Championships, with five men’s and an equal number of women’s teams, representing the age 18 and under champions from the four Atlantic provinces plus a host team, taking part. PEI is represented by the Matthew MacLean rink from the Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary, and the Veronica Smith rink from the Cornwall Curling Club, winners of the O’Connor Glass Provincial 17 and Under championships, held in February at the Silver Fox. Also in the event is PEI native Kyle Hughes, now living in Saint John, and skipping the New Brunswick championship rink from the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club.
