$100,000 bonus on the line for Homan team if they win The Players’ Ch’ship

Rachel Homan from Orleans, Ontario, who defended her Scotties title this season with a dominant performance, going undefeated throughout the tournament with an impressive 13-0 record, is looking to add another win, and some cash, at the Players’ Championship, April 15-20 in Summerside. Homan has already captured the Masters of Curling Grand Slam Event this year, and, if she sweeps both Women’s Grand Slam Events by winning in Summerside, she will earn a $100,000 bonus.

“It will be great to have the best competition in the world competing at the Players’ Championship in the wonderful City of Summerside.” said Councillor Jim Steele, Chair of the City of Summerside’s Community Services Committee.
