Ramsay is the second stone for the Crystal Webster rink, which defeated Michele Jaggi 7-4 in an extra end in Wednesday morning’s draw at the Players’ Championship curling event at Eastlink Arena.

“It feels pretty great,” said Ramsay after the game. “It’s definitely different to be curling in an arena back home instead of a club. It’s nice to see all the fans in the stands.”

Ramsay and lead Jenn Gates were sweeping Webster’s final “as hard as we could” to get it by a guard out front while third stone Cathy Overton-Clapham called the shot from the house. Webster was able to knock out Jaggi’s shot stone and count three.
