The Charlottetown Curling Complex is among the sports facilities and communities nominated for a Kraft Celebration Tour award. The Top 10 winning community finalists, chosen by a judging panel, will become a stop on The Kraft Celebration Tour — each receiving a community celebration and a live TSN SportsCentre broadcast from their town. Tune into TSN SportsCentre and RDS Sports 30 Le Magazine on July 1 (7:00pm AT) for the Top 10 Winner announcement.

The Top 10 winning community finalists will go head-to-head in an online voting battle July 21 and 22 to determine who will win the Grand Prize of $100,000 for their community project. The remaining finalists will each receive a Secondary Prize of $25,000 for their community project.

Over the past 5 years, Kraft, TSN and RDS have helped communities across Canada build better places to play. Their commitment and dedication to active and healthy lifestyles have changed neighbourhoods, towns and cities alike.

Ten Island facilities/communities are among the current nominations, which close at 1 am tonight. If the Charlottetown Curling Complex was awarded the $100,000 grand prize, the money would go towards updates to the facility’s insulation and heating system, and to fix issues with the roof.
