Three of the five Grand Slam of Curling events will now include women’s divisions

(Grand Slam of Curling) The Grand Slam of Curling announced today that the Canadian Open has expanded and will include a women’s division for the first time in the event’s history.

Along with the Masters and Players’ Championship, three of the five Grand Slam of Curling events will now host both men’s and women’s tournaments.

The 2014 Canadian Open runs Dec. 9-14 at Gallagher Centre in Yorkton, Sask.
