Casey rink loses opener at Quebec WCT cashspiel

Challenge Casino de Charlevoix

Sixteen teams from Ontario and east, including PEI’s Team Adam Casey, and an Ottawa rink skipped by Souris PEI native Ian MacAulay, are participating in the Elite division of the $57,000 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix, a World Curling Tour event, which got underway this morning in Clermont Quebec. The final is Sunday at 2 pm AT.

Team Casey lost their opener against Montreal’s Steven Munroe team this afternoon, by a 7-4 score, while MacAulay scored three points in an extra end to win his 1st game, against Nova Scotia’s Ian Fitzner-LeBlanc, by an 8-5 score this morning.
