Here’s an update on activities at the Crapaud Community Curling Club:
Tonight we have a free learn to curl event , in conjunction with the ‘Chase the Ace’. We will have an instructor on the ice to help everyone get started. Chase the Ace runs from 7-9pm with the draw happening at 9pm.
Saturday, Nov 29th we have a provincial junior league from 8am-12pm
Sunday November 30th is the Mixed Doubles funspiel. The draw times are 1:00pm; 2:45pm; and 4:30pm. Team with highest number of points for all three games, wins!
Friday, December 5th we are hosting a ‘Turkey Funspiel’ from 7-9pm. Entry fee per team is ONE turkey, which will be donated to the CBC Turkey drive. Your team will then get to play in a 4 end funspiel.
You can also donate $5 to the turkey drive for the chance to ‘throw’ a turkey to the button. To register you can either contact the club or sign up at the club.
This is held in conjunction with the ‘Chase the Ace’.
December 12-14th we are hosting the provincial Mixed Doubles, with teams from our club among those competing, so make sure to check it out!
– The Crapaud Curling Club is looking at hosting Community School Curling starting in January. If you know anyone that interested, please pass their interest along to us. It would run once a week for 10 weeks.
– A reminder to members: Please pay your membership by the end of this month. Membership rates are posted at the club and on the website.
