“We changed the way we did a lot of things this year,” explained Bradley, who will be participating her 10th or 11th national Scotties. “We changed our practices; we practised with consequences; we had meaning with every rock we threw; we worked with a sports psychologist; we trained physically.

“We did a lot of things different this year than we did in the past. I’m not saying we didn’t train or practise with meaning in past years, but we just made a conscious choice that every time we threw a rock this year to make it count and mean something. . .

“It just made us focus on our routines, and be comfortable and trust what we’ve been doing all year long.”
