It was handshake time after eight ends of play, with PEI, skipped for the second time at the Canada Games by Tyler Smith, coming out on the losing end of a 9-4 score with Manitoba in the Canada Games quarter-finals this afternoon. PEI, who were down 7-2 after 5 ends, now plays off for 5th place, Friday at 1 pm at the Prince George Golf and Winter Club, while Manitoba moves on to the semis at 11:05 pm Atlantic this evening.
