Koe beats Casey 8-4 at the Brier. Casey takes on Jacobs on TSN4 at 4:30 (Journal)

CALGARY – Alberta’s Kevin Koe took full advantage of the hammer to defeat P.E.I.’s Adam Casey rink 8-4 at the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier on Tuesday.

Summerside native Anson Carmody is the second stone with P.E.I.’s Adam Casey rink at the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary.

Koe improved to 3-2 while Casey fell to 2-3 at the Canadian men’s curling championship.

Casey, third stone Josh Barry, second stone Anson Carmody and lead Robbie Doherty are back on the ice at 4:30 p.m., Atlantic Time. Their opposition will be Northern Ontario’s Brad Jacobs, who is a perfect 5-0 (won-lost). That game will be televised live on TSN4.
