Maple Leaf club in O’Leary offering Little Rock After School Club

Maple Leaf Curling Club’s LITTLE ROCK AFTER SCHOOL CLUB is their beginner program for young, elementary school aged children. This program teaches children the importance of warming up, the basics of being on the ice, sliding and sweeping, as well as general age-appropriate knowledge of our great game.

The program takes place MONDAY & THURSDAY AFTERNOONS  4:00-5:00PM** (Please Note New Time For 2015) **

Maple Leaf is proud to have a set of “Little Rocks” that make the handling and movement of the curling stones easier for children as opposed to the traditional stones. This fun and interactive environment is a great starting point to get children interested in the game!

NEW FOR 2015!! Have your child arrive at the club off the school bus from O’Leary or  Bloomfield Elementary! A snack and supervision will be provided until ice time!

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: -Clean, Indoor Use Only Sneakers-Warm Clothing-Helmet For Your Child’s

Safety Helmets are MANDATORY for this Program – NO EXCEPTIONS
Duct Tape for Sliding, and curling brushes will be provided at the club
