The 9th annual Fall Fling Junior Cashspiel gets underway at noon at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside, with 12 junior men’s and an equal number of junior women’s teams, from all three Maritime provinces, taking part.

Here are the team rosters:

A draw will take place on Friday morning at 11 to determine the team matchups. There are two round robin pools of six teams in both the junior men’s and junior women’s divisions.  Following round robin play, the top team from the A pool will play the second place team in the B pool,  and the top team from the B pool will play the second place team in the A pool, in both the men’s and women’s semi-finals, with the semi winners going to their respective finals.

Men’s round robin draw times are Friday at noon and 5:30, and Saturday at 8 am, and 1 and 6:30 pm. Women’s round robin games go Friday at 2:30 and 8 pm, and Saturday at 10:30 am and 4 and 9 pm. Semi-finals go Sunday at 9 am, with the finals at 1 pm. Round robin games are eight ends, while the Sunday semis and finals are 10 ends.

The winning teams will go home with $600 in cash, with the runners-up receiving $300, and the third and fourth place teams (losers of the semi-final games) pocketing $125.
