MacFadyen and his rink from the host Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club scored five points in the last half of the game en route to a 6-4 win over Tyler Smith of the Montague Curling Club in the men’s final of the Fall Fling junior cashspiel on Sunday afternoon.
After Smith stole a deuce to take a 4-1 lead into the fifth end, MacFadyen began his comeback by answering with a deuce of his own in the sixth end. He then stole single points in the seventh, eighth and ninth ends.

MacFadyen’s teammates are third stone Kyle Holland, second stone Matthew MacDonald and lead Parker MacFadyen. Dave MacFadyen coaches the rink.

In the women’s final, Mary Fay of the Chester Curling Club in Nova Scotia defeated Lauren Lenentine of the Cornwall Curling Club.
