Matthew MacLean rink wins memorial spiel held in honour of their former teammate

The Matthew MacLean rink are the winners of the third annual Kevin Gallant Memorial Bonspiel, held Friday and Saturday at the Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary. Gallant, a former long-time member of the MacLean team, was killed in a snowmobile accident on December 18th 2013 at the young age of 18.

The bonspiel, which includes a bake sale and silent auction, is sponsored by the O’Leary Farmers Co-op Food Market.
