Curling underway in Charlottetown, Summerside, Cornwall. Starting soon in Montague. O’Leary

The rocks are now on the ice, and curling is beginning at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Community Complex in Summerside. Open house/curling school is set for Nov. 3 and 4, with leagues starting on the 6th.

At the Charlottetown Curling Complex, the Afternoon League started Oct 27, and the Commercial League hit the ice on Oct 30. The Monday evening “Anything Goes” league starts Oct 31, while Competitive & Semi-Competitive starts Nov 2.

The Crapaud Community Curling Club are having ice plant issues, and are meeting tonight to decide on next steps.

Ice preparation is nearing completion at the Montague Curling Rink, with the rings now installed.  They are holding their annual Free Curling Lessons/Open House, on Nov. 7, 8 and 9, beginning at 6:30 each evening.

The Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary is sporting a new look, with an exterior upgrade.

Their Open House, Registration, and free “Try Curling” sessions are scheduled for Saturday, November 12 (revised date), from 1-4 pm. Afterschool Little Rock curling will still start on Nov. 10th, with Stick curling beginning Nov 8th, and conventional curling on the 16th.

The Cornwall Curling Club is now into its fourth week of curling, with a full draw for its Mixed Doubles bonspiel this Saturday.

We’ll pass on startup info on the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton when we receive it.
