Big turnout for Curling 101 at Montague today

There was a great turn-out today for the two sessions of Curling 101 held at the Montague Curling Club. Curling 101 is a follow-up to the Egg Farmers’ Rocks & Rings, presented by Curling Canada,  in-school curling program, where area curling club offer FREE on-ice “Introduction to Curling” sessions for both the students and their parents/guardians. 

Instructors who donated their time today included  Robyn and Philip MacDonald, Shelley and David Rice, Gaylene Nicholson, Nancy Collier, Owen Collier and Tyler Garnhum. Amy Duncan from Curl PEI, who organizes the school program, led the first session.

Curling 101 is coming soon to other PEI curling clubs. Further info when everything is finalized.
