The Canadian Mixed Curling Championship got underway Sunday evening at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth NS. Here’s Team PEI, skipped by Veronica  Smith, and Team NB, skipped by Charlie Sullivan, at the opening ceremonies.

These two teams square off at 2:30 this afternoon. It’ll be PEI’s first game, while NB lost a close 3-2 battle Sunday evening to Ontario’s Wayne Tuck, the 2009 runner-up at the event.

This afternoon’s game will be broadcast live on Eastlink TV on Cable 10 and 610.

PEI faces Alberta at 7 pm.
