Curling starts tonight in Belfast, arena curling very popular at Eastern Kings Sportsplex in Souris

Besides PEI’s 7 dedicated curling facilities, there is also curling, on arena ice, one night a week at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex in Souris, and at the Belfast Recreation Centre. Curling in Souris goes Tuesdays at 5:30 and 7:15 pm. For more info, visit the Souris Curling Club on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/souriscurling.club/?fref=ts. The Club announced in November that it had a full membership complement of 64 curlers, but accepts casual curlers each night on a space available basis.

Fun, social curling gets underway tonight (Monday, Jan. 2) at 8 pm in Belfast. Here is the schedule. There are seven teams, so one team has a bye each Monday.
