Ramsay now 3-0 in Alberta Scotties, plays in A section final Thurs. night (Journal)

ST. ALBERT, Alta. – The Geri-Lynn Ramsay-skipped rink is undefeated at the 2017 Alberta Scotties provincial women’s curling championship.

The Summerside native is now 3-0 (won-lost) following a 7-6 win over Val Sweeting on Thursday morning.
Ramsay will face Shannon Kleibrink’s rink, which is 2-0, in the A section final of the triple-knockout event on Thursday at 9:30 p.m., Atlantic Time.

Ramsay, who skips a rink out of the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary, scored a deuce with the hammer in the 10th end to edge Trisha James 7-6 in the opening draw, and came back later in the day to stage a 9-7 come-from-behind win over Nadine Chyz in Wednesday’s late draw.
