Casey, third stone Catlin Schneider, second stone Shaun Meachem and lead Dustin Kidby have advanced to the final game of the Saskatchewan Tankard provincial men’s curling championship on Sunday. Casey will face the winner of Sunday morning’s semifinal match between defending-champion Steve Laycock and Bruce Korte in the one-game, winner-take-all final at 4:30 p.m., Atlantic Time.
Casey, who lost the A section final to Laycock 6-5 in an extra end on Friday, bounced back with three straight wins – 8-5 over Jason Jacobsen on Friday night, 11-3 over Kurt Hartung on Saturday morning and 8-5 versus Laycock in the one-versus-two Page playoff game on Saturday night.
