Senior Women’s Curling Ch’ship Final is on for 10 this morning

The PEI Credit Unions Senior Women’s Curling Championship final between the Shelley Ebbett team from the host Charlottetown Curling Complex and the Cornwall Curling Club, and the Shirley Berry foursome from Cornwall in going ahead this morning at 10 am.

The Phil Gorveatt rink from Charlottetown won the Senior Men’s title on Sunday, defeating the Robert Campbell team from Charlottetown and the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Community Complex 6-5 in an extra end.

The Gorveatt rink and the winner of the women’s championship game will advance to the 2017 Everest Canadian senior curling championships in Fredericton, N.B., from March 18 to 26.
