Curl PEI already has rules requiring young curlers to wear helmets, in line with a recent Curling Canada’s recommendation.

Sandy Matheson, the vice-president of Curl PEI said staff at the Island’s seven curling clubs require curlers [under age 12] in junior programs to wear protective headgear while playing.
