PEI’s reigning provincial women’s curling champs, the Robyn MacPhee rink, begin their 2017/2018 curling season on Friday at the $16,000 total purse, 18 team Stu Sells Toronto Tankard.

Other events on their schedule include the Lady Monctonian, Oct. 20-23, the OVCA Fall Classic, Nov. 2-5, and the Curl Mesabi Classic in Minnesota Dec. 8-10. They’ll be competing in the PEI Scotties Tournament of Hearts Provincial Women’s Championship at the Cornwall Curling Club January 2-7, and if they repeat as winners, will be advancing to the national Scotties in Penticton BC January 27 to Feb. 4.
