It’s almost time to curl on PEI!

Island curling clubs are busy getting ready for the season, with the Charlottetown Curling Complex set to be the first with ice. Icemaker Larry Richards took this photo last last night – the base coats are on and the ice has now been painted white. After a few floods, lines, circles and sponsor logos will be added, followed by additional floods, and it will be time to curl.

They are planning to have the ice ready to go by October 10th, with league play beginning on the 22nd .
