Crapaud women’s team set to compete in the Travelers Curling Club Ch’ship Nov. 20-28 in Kingston ON

Crapaud, PE – The Board and members of the Crapaud Community Curling Club extend their congratulations and well wishes to their team attending the Travelers Championship in Kingston, Ontario, next week.

Skipped by Julie Mutch, the Crapaud team won the PEI Travelers Curling Championship women’s division last spring and now advance to the 2017 national Travelers Curling Club Championship. The event will take place November 20-25, 2017 at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club in Kingston, Ontario. 

Other members of the Crapaud rink are third Lindsay Moore, who throws fourth stones, second Terri Wood, and lead stone Heather MacRae.

The Travelers Curling Club Championship is an annual event for men’s and women’s curling teams who have won their respective local club championships. Winning teams from all ten provinces and three territories compete. It is the “ultimate experience for club curlers”.

“We are very proud to have this skilled women’s team from our Club represent PEI in this national event, and we wish them great success,” said Club President Susan Hubley.
