UPEI Women Panthers pick up 2 wins today to improve to 3-1 at Subway AUS Ch’ships

It was a big day for the UPEI team, skipped by Veronica Smith, at the Subway AUS Curling Championships at the Capital Winter Club in Fredericton NB. They moved into second place, tied with Dalhousie, with a 3-1 win-loss record, following an 8-1 routing of UNB, and a 4-2 doubling of Dal. Mount A, who UPEI lost to in their opener, is first at 3-0. UPEI finishes round robin play on Saturday, with a 9:30 am game against MUN, and a 7 pm match against St FX. The playoff round goes Sunday at 9 am and 1pm.
