Reigning PEI Scotties champs going their separate ways

Team Robyn MacPhee posted the following on their Facebook page this morning:

To all our supporters,

We wanted to thank everyone who has supported our team over the past two seasons (whatever shape or form it came in)! We consider ourselves very lucky to play this sport and take advantage all the great opportunities that come along with it.

From our “interesting” travel itineraries, to hosting junior curling clinics, to lots of hours on the ice with our coach Mitchell Matthew [O’Shea], to getting our butts kicked at NATURALLY FIT PEI, to our annual bouquet deliveries from O’Connor Glass John R O’Connor, and to making up endless “bee-related” puns with Beatrice our Honibe mascot, it’s been a blast to say the least.

Like many teams this year, we are going our separate ways. Robyn has decided to take a break from the game but the rest of us will be continuing on in different formations. Stay tuned for more details from us all!

Thanks again for all the support and in particular to our sponsors: Honibe ????, O’Connor Glass, NATURALLY FIT PEI, Asham, Sherdale Properties, Cox & Palmer, and Geneva Villa.

Our final ask of you is that you continue to support these local businesses who have so graciously supported us and our junior curling clinics. They see the value that sport brings to a community. We’re very grateful to be ambassadors of their companies and the sport of curling!
