Planning is complete for another season of curling on Tuesdays at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex in Souris, following the Souris Curling Club’s meeting last evening. Curling will begin Tuesday, Nov 6th, with rates unchanged from last year: $150 for first-time members, $200 for returnees and couples who alternate weeks. Members will soon receive an email with both registration and release forms to download. These will also be available at the Sportsplex canteen (just to pick up forms, not to pay). There will be a registration at the Main Street Mall on Friday, Oct. 19 from 5-7 pm (they will have forms as well). You must pay and have both completed forms in before you start curling. As in other years, they have a limit of 64 -68 members, so be sure to register early.
