Coaching with an Edge: Atlantic Coaches Conference 2019 will be returning to Saint Mary’s University in Halifax from April 25-27. There will be two conference options to choose from.

1-Excellence
April 25 (evening) & April 26, 2019

2-Participation
April 26 (evening) & April 27, 2019

Speaker Highlights

Confirmed speakers include the following with more to be announced in the coming months:

Troy Ryan 

Troy is the Assistant Coach for the National Women’s Ice Hockey team, who recently claimed Silver at the 2018 Winter Olympic in Pyeongchang.  Troy is also the Atlantic Canada Female Coach Mentor for female hockey in the Atlantic region.  Troy is a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) and is currently working towards a certificate in leadership from the University of New Brunswick.  

Dr. Stephen Norris

Originally from England, Norris was the central performance consultant for Own the Podium leading up to the 2010 Olympic Games.  He is a recognized authority on long term athlete development and talent nurturing systems and has been a strong advocate for sport and recreation across Canada for more than two decades.
