PEI curling teams for 2019 Canada Games to be selected at finals in Cornwall, starting Friday

Four Canada Games Training Teams – two boy’s and two girl’s, were selected following Trials #1 last season at the Silver Fox in Summerside. The final selection of one boy’s and one girl’s team for the 2019 Canada Games in Red Deer will be made with Best of Five series at the Cornwall Curling Club, from December 7-9 2018, with the two winning teams going on to represent PEI at the 2019 Canada Games in Red Deer AB, February 15 until March 3, 2019.

The two boy’s teams playing off are the Mitchell Schut team from Cornwall, and Charlottetown’s Chase MacMillan rink, while the Lauren Ferguson team from Cornwall, and Team Howatt, also from Cornwall, with Sierra Clyke calling the game and Sydney Howatt throwing final stones, are the girl’s teams in the competition.
