The curling season is com ing to an end\, but with the PEI Government Circuit Breakers\, a number of Island curling clubs have decided to stay open a little longer than norma l\, which is providing Curl PEI with time to host another development oppo rtunity\, a 2023 Canada Games Doubles Identification event\, on Saturday\ , April 10 at the Montague Curling Club\, beginning in the early afternoon (actual time will depend on the number of entries). The 2023 Canada Wint er Games will be hosted here on Prince Edward Island from February 18 to M arch 5 2023.
\nThe Identification Event will be open to all age-elig ible (see below) doubles teams (teams do not have to be mixed for this eve nt\, however\, the 2023 Canada Games event WILL be mixed.). Teams will ge t to play 1-2 games each\, depending on the number of entries (planning fo r two but if there are a lot of teams it will be reduced to one). Entry fee will be $20/team.
