Mixed Doubles

Entry deadline is January 19 for the PEI championship for the Olympic sport of Mixed Doubles, for 2-person teams of one male and one female, taking place at the Charlottetown Curling Complex Feb. 9-11. This event has no age restrictions. The winning team advances to the 2018 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship from March 29 to April 1 in Leduc Alberta. 

Unlike a number of other events, attendance for the provincial winners at the national Mixed Doubles competition is not completely paid for by Curling Canada. Curl PEI will be supporting the winning team attending the National Mixed Doubles by paying their $400 registration fee and possibly reimbursing some travel expenses. Entry fee is  $90 per team
