PEI’s Suzanne Birt rink is in Ottawa this weekend, competing in the 2008 John Shea Insurance
Women’s Canada Cup Qualifier.  After winning their opener Thursday evening, 8-7 in an extra end over Chrissy Cadorin of Ontario, they then lost 9-5 to World and Canadian champion Jennifer Jones on Friday morning. On Friday afternoon, they won 8-5 over Alison Ross of Ontario. Their next game is Saturday morning at 8 Eastern, against Cindy Street of Saskatchewan.
