VANCOUVER, B.C. – “We just had a bad game.”
That’s how second stone Anson Carmody described Canada’s heartbreaking 9-6 loss Sunday to Denmark in the men’s gold-medal game at the world junior curling championships in Vancouver, B.C.
Canada’s Brett Gallant rink from the Charlottetown Curling Club couldn’t rebound after Denmark’s Rasmus Stjerne rink stole three in the eighth end, said Carmody in an interview immediately following the final at the Vancouver Olympic Centre.
