You’ll recognize them by their blue sweatshirts and gold vests. They are the 170 volunteers the host committee will be relying heavily on over the next week to make sure everything runs smoothly during the Canadian senior curling championships at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club.
Carl Delaney is chair of the host committee. He estimates about 100 volunteers will be utilized every day of the men’s and women’s championships.
