ALBERTON – Last year, Rod MacDonald and his team got off to a 1-2 (won-lost) start in the Final 8 of the P.E.I. Curling Association’s Labatt Tankard, and battled back to win the provincial men’s curling championship.
“If we’re doing that this year,” said the defending champion skip, “it will be tough.”
Instead of a Final 8 this year, there are six teams playing a round robin. The first-place team will advance to the championship final against the winner of the semifinal game between the second- and third-place teams.
