OTTAWA (TSN/CP) — New Brunswick’s Heidi Hanlon scored four in the final end to pull out an 8-7 victory over Northern Ontario’s Vicky Barrett in semifinal play at the Canadian women’s senior curling championship Saturday.
Hanlon will face B.C.’s Christine Jurgenson in Sunday’s final.
In men’s play, Alberta’s Mark Johnson defeated Saskatchewan’s Brad Heidt 8-3.
Johnson will play Ontario’s Gareth Parry for the championship.
