CCA and PEICA relaunch websites

(CCA/PEICA) All Curling. Online. All the Time.
The Canadian Curling Association (CCA) and the PEI Curling Association (PEICA)  have just  launched  revitalized versions of their Curling.ca and PEICurling.com websites – providing an exciting new range of features to keep you in touch with the sport.

The new Curling.ca website is the ultimate source for everything related to the roaring game. Along with an expanded base of information available online, it’s also your instant connection to our new social media network. Now you can link up with curling news and events on their Facebook Fan Page and their Twitter account.  Sign up as a fan of the Canadian Curling Association on Facebook and follow us on Twitter at @CCACurling. They’ll be hosting a number of contests throughout the coming season for Facebook and Twitter fans.

Plus, they’ll be bringing you regularly featured Blogs from some of the most fascinating personalities in the game… including Olympic Silver medalist Cheryl Bernard, Olympic Gold medalist John Morris, Jean Mills, author of Abbey and the Curling Chicks, and Mort Cooper with the latest news on the Little Rocks program.

As another new feature, they’ll be profiling Athletes of the Week for Men, Women and Junior curlers across the country beginning in September through to the end of April.

Earlier this year, the PEICA also introduced a Facebook fan page and instant availability of  their curling news via twitter, and on a large monitor at the Charlottetown Curling Club using the PEI-developed ScreenScape technology.  Visit PEICurling.com for links to their Facebook and twitter sites, their RSS news feed, and to sign up to receive curling news via email. Visit ccc.screenscape.net to preview the ScreenScape site.

The new PEICurling.com redesign adds access to their large library of photos, and includes links to PEI curling videos from YouTube and other websites.  Other new features include a rolling display of featured information at the top of the site’s home page, and instant access to curling news from the CCA.

Other features are planned for both sites, and will be rolled out over the summer months.
