Scotties Little Softie paid a visit to the Cornwall Curling Club on Sunday for their junior curling Christmas Fun Day, hosted jointly by the Club and the National Scotties Tournament of Hearts organizers. The afternoon consisted of some fun on-ice skills and activities, followed by a pizza and pop party.  The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the visit by Little Softie, the mascot for the Scotties Tournament of  Hearts. The provincial Scotties, along with a new “Future Scotties” event for prospective future participants, will be taking place at the Cornwall club January 27-31, with the national championship taking place at the Charlottetown Civic Centre from Feb. 19-27.
