PEI’s Suzanne Birt rink are now at 3-3 at the Scotties, after stealing a 7-5 extra end win over Alberta’s Shannon Kleibrink team this afternoon. Kleibrink attempted a runback with her final shot, but the angle wasn’t there and Birt stole two for the win. Alberta is also 3-3.
The big game of the afternoon was the battle between undefeated Saskatchewan and Ontario, with Saskatchewan winning 8-5.
