Round robin play is over for PEI’s Tyler Smith rink at the Canada Games. They lost 7-1 to Saskatchewan’s Brady Sharrack team this afternoon at the Halifax Mayflower Curling Club, with the Westerners taking a deuce in the opening end, and stealing singles in the next three to build an early lead. PEI ends round robin play with a 1-4 win-loss record, as does the Northwest Territories team. New Brunswick and Saskatchewan both finished at 4-1 in the pool, while Manitoba and Ontario both finished at 4-1 in the other pool. These four teams will play in the semi-finals at 10 am Saturday, with the winners advancing to the gold medal game, Saturday at 7:30 pm. PEI will end play by competing in a crossover game on Friday
