The Brent MacDougall rink of Halifax defended its title in the second annual Gahan/Clarey cashpiel at the Montague Curling Club, walking away with the $2,500 prize. Mr MacDougall won the game with a double hit on the last throw. The tournament featured 16 teams from Nova Scotia and PEI and kicked off this year’s curling season at the club.
