Matters edges Ramsay 7-6 in extra end in 1st game of Pepsi junior men’s final (Guardian)

Skip Alex Matters keeps an eye on his sweepers during play Saturday in the Pepsi Provincial Junior Curling Championships at the Charlottetown Curling Club.

Matters defeated Sam Ramsay 7-6 in game one of their best of three final to decide the P.E.I. mens junior winner. Game two goes Monday at 10 a.m. at the Charlottetown Curling Club. The womens final goes at the same time between Amanda MacLean, who curls at the Cornwall Curling Club and Maple Leaf Club and Sarah Fullerton of the Charlottetown Curling Club and Cornwall Curling Club. Both Matters and Ramsay curl at the Charlottetown Curling Club.
