PEI picks up win over Sask. at Scotties to improve to 2-3

PEI’s Kim Dolan rink recovered successfully from a 4 point seventh end by Saskatchewan’s Michelle Englot team at the Scotties in Red Deer this evening. Trailing 7-4, the Islanders took a single in the eighth, stole a deuce in the ninth, and a single in the 10th when Englot just missed a difficult shot, winning 8-7, and improving their record to 2-3. Saskatchewan sits at 2-2, with BC’s Kelly Scott out in front at 4-0, followed by Jennifer Jones of Manitoba and Team Canada’s Amber Holland, both at 3-2.
