Parents are reminded that if you have a junior curler or child in Little Rocks programs, these activities likely qualify for child fitness tax receipts. Parents can claim up to $500 per child for fees paid in 2011 that relate to children’s registration in physical activity programs like curling.
Curling clubs that have not already done so can issue Child Fitness Tax receipts for fees paid for eligible programs for participants 16 yrs and under. Programs that qualify must be a supervised program, have a physical activity component, run for a minimum eight weeks or longer.
