Local connection to Howard rink (Journal)

PENETANGUISHENE, ONT. – The P.E.I. connection with the Brad Gushue rink for the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling Players’ Championship has been well documented.Second stone Adam Casey of Seven Mile Bay and third stone Brett Gallant of Charlottetown will curl with the skip from St. John’s, N.L., in Summerside from April 17 to 22.

However, there is also a strong P.E.I. tie involving lead Craig Savill of the recently-crowned world men’s curling champions, the Glenn Howard rink from Ontario.
