Business of Curling sessions with the CCA’s Danny Lamoureux

PEI curling clubs are reminded that two  “Business of Curling” sessions will be held next weekend, with Danny Lamoureux, the Canadian Curling Association’s Director of Curling Club Development. The first is on October 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Crapaud Community Curling Club, and is open to curling club staff and volunteers, including managers, presidents, Board of Directors members, bartenders, etc.  – as many as each Club would like to send (“the more the merrier”). There is also a session just for Curl PEI executive, including the designated Club representatives, on Oct. 14 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Clubs are asked to RSVP their planned attendance at these sessions to aduncan@sportpei.pe.ca by Tuesday Oct. 9 at 4 pm.

Delivering Superior Customer Service
Building the business of curling has many facets that need to be coordinated under one umbrella called “superior customer service”. We are convinced keeping what you worked so hard to get (members) can be linked directly to delivering superior customer service. This session will guide you to that philosophy.

The Business of Curling program has been delivered across Canada to hundreds of clubs, manager and Board of Directors volunteers since 1995. Danny Lamoureux also managed the Ottawa Curling Club for 16 years.
