Playoffs set at PEI Brewing Co. Cashspiel in Montague

The semi-final round, at 10 this morning, is set at the Atlantic Curling Tour‘s PEI Brewing Company Fall Classic cashspiel, which wraps up with this afternoon’s 12:30 final at the Montague Curling Club.Three teams, skipped by two-time defending champion Brent MacDougall of Halifax, PEI’s Rod MacDonald, and Rob Harris of Halifax, finished round robin play with 4-0 win-loss records, and have advanced to the semis, along with PEI’s Mike Gaudet rink, who came out of the round robin at 3-1. The semi matchups see the PEI rinks, skipped by MacDonald and Gaudet, face off in one game, and the Nova Scotia teams, captained by MacDougall and Harris, in the other.

12 teams, from PEI and Nova Scotia,  took part in the annual Atlantic Curling Tour event.
